Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bumplog (the "Service"), operated by ZenCore Digital LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use any third-party credentials (such as GitHub) you connect.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for any activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@bumplog.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Description of Service

Bumplog is a software-as-a-service tool that helps teams publish changelog entries from their source code repositories, including an optional AI-assisted drafting feature, an embeddable widget, email notifications, and a public changelog page. Specific features depend on the plan you subscribe to.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as shown at checkout). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You authorize us, through our merchant-of-record payment processor, to charge your payment method for each renewal.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by our payment processor based on your billing location. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes will apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access to paid features until then, and you will not be charged again.

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create or upload to the Service, including changelog entries, project metadata, and branding assets ("Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to use it with the Service and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
• Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service to distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, or harmful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section at our discretion.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services, including GitHub (for repository access), our AI inference provider (for release note generation), and our hosting and data infrastructure providers. Your use of those integrations is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for any issues or losses caused by third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and documentation, is owned by ZenCore Digital LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except the limited right to display an attribution badge on free-tier embedded widgets.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements. AI-generated release notes are drafts and may contain inaccuracies — you are responsible for reviewing them before publication.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZenCore Digital LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZenCore Digital LLC and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease, but sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
